Dating Matters for 6th and 7th Graders Session 6 AD
I think with this vast of an age difference the parents should be asked permission. With a 12th grader this person could quite possibly be an adult. Anonymous 0.
I would stick to relationships with people that are the same age as you. Once there is a gap in ages, your interests are different and that may cause a problem.
Anonymous "But a 6th grader just entered middle school Thats very strange, becuase a 12th grader is about to go to college. But a 6th grader just entered middle school He may be alittle young even though he will be 14 in a week.

When my spouse and I go out, I always make sure the tie matches the dress. I know this pisses you off now, but later you'll look back and realize that what I'm saying is right.

There are 7th graders dating 12th graders here too, so your good:) (my advice, try to look past the looks otherwise, you may pay for it XD) level 1. 1 point 5 years ago. I fond it a bit weird. level 1. Of course, if kids are just left alone to "date" at 7th grade, not much good could come of it. But learning some real basics with an involved parent is a good thing. When I was in 7th grade, I was "going with" a boy that I am still friends with, 24 years later!
What do you all think? I'm really uncomfortable with kids under 18 dating anyone over 18, besides the fact it's illegal where I live!
But even at 18, I feel like it's wierd that they'd date someone in their 20s.
Sep 07, It doesn't matter if they are boys or girls, there is a big difference. In high school, one grade level is about all I would be comfortable with. For a senior dating a freshman in college, not that big of a difference but more then that there is. Once kids are in college a freshman dating a senior isn't all that much different. I like an eleventh grader and was just wondering. ate: Well if the 7th grader was a girl and the 11 grader was a . In my opinion, 7th grade is the year that dating actually becomes serious, and your not doing it just for popularity; your doing it because you actually.
We make a LOT of changes, and rapidly, in those first years out of high school. While I know there is no "one size fits all" rule regarding dating, I thinking that teenagers dating older people is generally a really bad idea.
Why would it be weird for an 18 year old and 20 year old to date? My son is in HS and there are plenty of 17 year old seniors dating 15 year old sophmores. In fact when he was a freshman he complained that the girls wouldn't talk to the freshman boys because they all wanted to date the older boys.
In 3 years the same kids will be 20 and and I think it would be strange for an 18 year old to want to date a 30 year old, but I don't think it's wrong, just strange. My daughter is a 17 yr old senior.
She is dating a young man who is 19 and graduated last year. He is attending Community College. I see nothing wrong with this.
Sorry, 11th grader dating 7th grader right! seems
They are one year apart in school, but two years apart in age. Last year, when they started dating, he was a senior and she a junior. I would have a problem only if she started dating someone out of college while she was still in high school.
